Hello, I was wondering if there is anyone out there who would like to help me start a Prospect reunion? I think I can secure a location, but would love to have help getting it started. I think it would be a truly wonderful thing. Thanks, Sonya Cogan Sonyamedia@aol.com

Sonya- A Prospect reunion would be, could be a wonderful thing- who do you imagine reuniting? I welcome any chance to bring Prospect folks togetherbut it feels especially urgent to me in these times. What brought you to the idea of a reunion? As I type, the ideas of literally bringing people back together, to stand together in the same space is exciting...count me in, in someway and I'll know more about how as you say more. -Paige

Hi Paige, I guess I imagined anyone and everyone and anyone who went to, or worked for Prospect. All are welcome! I first thought of it when I read Dorothy's newsletter in 2003. It was so nice to read about what everyone was up to and it seemed like people were interested in a reunion. I managed to get a location in Bennington for the end of June, so now all I need to do is round everyone up and hopefully take in some money to pay for the catering. I could really use help contacting people, and a suggestion for an affordable caterer. I have an email list on my AOL account and have had about 10 responses so far, hoepfully after the holidays more will come forward to say they would like to attend. Could I get your email address to add to my list? I could also use a partner or two on this if anyone is interested. I think with a little bit of help it should be pretty easy to pull off. Thanks, Sonya

Hi Sonya, The Prospect Board would like to support you in the limited ways we can as you and others organize this reunion. It'll take a little while to figure out what that help might be, but it's exciting to think that many former Prospect students might be getting together. The Prospect School and its students have been important to us over the years. You'll hear more from us as soon as possible. Warmly, Lynne Strieb, President, Prospect Board

Sonya- All welcome seems just right. If you have a location I'm wondering if you also have a date? We should talk as perhaps you and I could design a "save the date" card and see if it might be included in with other planned mailings to the membership. My email is pbray@educ.umass.edu and I look forward to seeing the email you have already circulated. This is very exciting and I'm thrilled to be able to assist you let's keep figuring out how. -Paige
